This is the lil house I want to buy in White Pine, Tennessee. It is surrounded by a pastoral landscape, cows included, and views of the Great Smokes. It is extremely close to the French Broad River and may even be in it's floodplain. I will investigate that, of course. Otherwise, the house has had many recent improvements: fresh paint indoors; slick, new laminate floors; and a kitchen makeover. The location is ideal for many reasons too: would cut my commute time in half; is closer to the mountains; and is not on a busy thoroughfare (read: peaceful and critter-friendy). I'll keep you updated!
