bLUE hIGHWAYS aND bLUE bLAZES

The dogs know the routine on Friday. Mom comes home between 4PM and 5PM, schwills a quick beverage on the porch while mugging Momo, throws a bunch of shit in the back of the VW, charges cellphone in the meantime, and hauls garbage to the curb so it doesn't rot in the house over the weekend. Lastly, dogs reluctantly pile in VW backseat. They know it will be a long haul down windy roads and/or noisy interstates. They know it is always worth it in the end though. Last weekend dogs and I went on the Blue Highways & Blue Blazes tour, North Carolina edition, sponsored by BP Fuel, VW, and Blue Buffalo Dogfood.
