Happy Thanksgiving Eve to Me

All karma, cosmic justice, and God's will will align on Thanksgiving Eve, and I will officially become a rooted homeowner in a huggable cottage here in Dandridge!! After I get the dog beds and the kitty-tom nests situated, the guest bedroom will be transformed from bare to cozy. The guest bedroom is the only one I have a vision for... expect warm Wamsutter sheets, a handmand patchwork quilt, 2 squirrels made from feathers, and a Wyoming-born tumbleweed 4-foot in diameter. Come spend the night(s)!
Soon-to-be My Huggable HomePrevious Owners Three Black Fuzzies in the Backyard (Meant to be?)Since I'll be spending Thanksgiving with my sister, I will be moving Saturday, November 29. The moving celebration starts at 11am.

  1. Woman!! Congratulations on the new home!! I bet it's pretty exciting. I'm in the middle of writing a thesis, so I've been chained to my home and my computer, but over Christmas break we should try to organize something fun!

I'm thinking cabin and cross country skiing in WV or Mount Roger's area (if there is snow)!
    Take care!

  2. Wow...what an amazing place. I am so happy and proud of you at the same time. Who would have thought that you might settle down into a cozy home. I always pictured you roaming from one beautiful place to another. Well, now I guess you have a home base and can still wander...right? I am also happy to see that you will be using the tumble weed as a decoration in the guest bedroom. By the way...I love the vision for the guest bedroom...I hope that I will be able to utilize it often...
    I miss you like crazy...

  6. every day i look at your little comfy house. it is so sweet..and it smiles. one of the things i noticed first, wasnt it size or the property, but that there was something that when all guys were little...you used to rate a house by...a porch..that could have a swing...and you have both,,it makes it..home. i hope things go well, and that you have a nice thanksgiving. i sent an email, but i didn't receive an answer...its at a gmail address.

    i love you. mom

I think you should decorate the tumble weed as you wish. Cannot wait to see your beautiful new home. Lots to be thankful for this year...your friendship and our adventures that continue to happen, no matter the years that pass...is at the top of my list.
