hunting from the road

i did it again - i picked up a dead bird off the side of the road... this time it is an eastern screech owl that probably died of brain trauma suffered from flying into a moving windshield... she is a beautiful little bird and i hope to get a salvage permit from the us fish and wildlife service so she can be mine... i'm going to violate the intl migratory bird act (again) and take her across state lines so she can attend the awful christmas sweater party...
