This picture needs to be photochopped when I get back to my own computer but in the meantime I thought the family would like to see that Christi and I in fact do spend time together with smiles on our faces. Christi and I, along with her fiancee Ryan, had a delightful seafood dinner at a scenic restaurant on the Chattahoochee tonight. After dinner and a great bottle of wine, Ryan escorted us across Vinings, the affluent section of Atlanta, to see where the two of them will get married next spring. Christi was excited to tell me all about their wedding plans, as well as about the construction they plan to do in their cozy suburban cottage. One of my favorite parts of the evening was lounging with Christi on her fancy bed and whispering about Ryan, her wedding dress and her kittycats. I am happy that Christi and I will live so close (~4 hours apart) now so I can be around during this exciting part of her life. I scored some sweet loot during the visit: a used coffee bean grinder and a barely used digital camera.
