The one and half year mark that I have lived/worked/played in Tennessee passed this week, and I am happy to report there is still a growing list of things I enjoy about my new home. I am enjoying making "SOL" (sunset on the lake) a ritual. I am a fan of Tennessee wine, preferably served out of the bottle, under the stars, at the lake bottom. I love broom sedge (maybe it is broom's edge) grass - it is a Tennessee native warm season grass. It is gorgeous in all seasons and especially about 20 minutes before the sun's descent below the horizon.
Broom sedge grass happens to be the feature of this evening's Happy SOL Vlog. With my paltry digital camera, I tried to capture the natural soundscape at Henderson Island, particularly the rustle of broom sedge through the wind. Among the other sounds, I hope you can hear the lovely rustle. I promise that at least the visual beauty of blowing grass will delight you. While viewing, may I suggest imagining yourself lying in the dirt surrounded by this beauty, taking in the sounds, the smells, and the sensations. It is almost heaven here in Tennessee.
so you can find me out in the blogworld - tho I can't sort out the broomsedge ting myself. - chase me back to live journal and you will find out how much you are worth in bed (and me, incidentally)
ReplyDeletei am priceless when it comes to snugglin with puplers in bed.
ReplyDeleteThe contrast of the broom sedge in the sun against the blue sky is mesmerizing.
